Centre for Interdisciplinary Sciences, JIS Institute of Advanced Studies and Research has successfully performed the 1st Industry-Academic meet, followed by achieving support from Industries by signing two MoUs with the Industries to gain a successful network in the area of interdisciplinary research around the country.
On May 10th 2022, JISIASR signed a MoU with the Next Big Innovation Lab to commence Industry-Academic collaboration in the field of Biomaterials research, bio-printing, and cell biology under the broad focus of interdisciplinary research.
Another MoU is signed with the Agni Green Power Ltd. for collaborative research work in the area of solar photovoltaic and its various innovative applications like floating solar, canal bank solar, biomass energy, wind energy, electric vehicles, etc. which will be led by sharing of renewable energy to the total energy generation capacity of India.
The MoUs are signed in the presence of Sardar Simarpreet Singh (Director, JIS Group) and Prof. Ajoy Kumar Ray (Director, JISIASR), Prof. Arun Kumar Majumdar (Advisor, JISIASR), all of our respected faculty members, and beloved students. The prime objective of the MoU is to enhance interaction, knowledge exchange platform, networking, and successful implementation of the challenges posed by the Institute and the modern industries, keeping in view the advantages of the socio-economic aspects, job opportunities, and sustainability. It also aims at the research internship, and students’ placement through academic-industry visits and exchange programs. It also enables the Joint Academic-Industry research programs. This collaboration also targets to enhance the technological, social, and cultural relations with the industries and the Institutes.
